The human mind is the most powerful thing in the world.
The mind directs every speech and action of people. Each thought and idea, when acted upon, will introduce a new reality, a new experience for humanity.
New technology and philosophy, at first, were part of human thought, until it has been taken out there—out from the confines of the human mind.
But the mind in itself can also do things that create internal and external chaos. Unhealthy and harmful thoughts can wreak havoc and destroy even the brightest and the most beautiful of dreams. Negative thoughts breed negative actions; and negative actions, even done in the smallest place, its vibration can reverberate far and wide, affecting the whole of humanity and the entire planet, affecting even the smallest and greatest of creatures.
This is why, the saints and sages of ancient times cautioned about the power of our minds since it can make or destroy us.
Her Holiness, Divine Mother GuruMaa Annai Shree Kriyalakshmi Deviyar lovingly stated:
The mind disconnected from divinity, creates chaos, friction, and temporary emotions. A mind connected to the Guru links directly to universal consciousness, saints, and divine beings. The repetition of teachings by the Guru serves as a compassionate reminder, recognizing that the disciple’s journey is filled with distractions. Constant emphasis on core principles helps the seeker remain focused and steadily…
It takes a lot of effort for an individual to subdue the mind. However, if the mind is focused on the divine teachings transmitted by the Guru, the mind will become as steady as the strongest tree in a dense forest, and it will become undefiled, untouched by the impurities of this world just like a lotus flower growing in a muddy and filthy pond.
When we listen attentively to the teachings of the Guru and apply them in our everyday lives, we can rest assured that our minds will become like our Divine Mother—always connected to the Source. As we remain connected to the Source, to the Universal Divine Consciousness, our hearts and minds won’t easily be swayed by all the nonsense happening in the world. [Reflection written by Dadaji]
